Hello

My name is Brian Phillips I live in Scotland and have been a 28mm and 15mm figure painter, collector and wargamer since the mid 1970's.

This website is my way of showcasing my figure painting and modelling skills which I have gained over the past years. I will endevour to share this with you.

I am a great fan of well painted figures and am quite fortunate to have a few friends who are extremely good figure painters in their own right. I am also quite lucky to have come into contact with other talented painters and gamers from around the world.

How do I paint my figures and what paints do I use, I have been asked this question so many times. I undercoat my figures with black primmer then apply a thin wash of Vallejo black which dries extremely matt and brings all the detail out of the figure.

I use a mixture of Vallejo, Foundry and Games Workshop Acrylics in three, four or more colour combinations and washes to achieve a fine detailed figure painted to the highest standards.
